Cancellation policy
Pre-orders let you reserve a record before its release date. The full amount is paid at checkout, and your item ships (or is set aside for pickup) as soon as it arrives in store.
Cancelling a pre-order
You can cancel a pre-order at no charge up to 7 days before its release date, with a full refund to your original payment method. From 7 days before release, the pre-order is final and can no longer be cancelled.
How to cancel
Email us at freesonrock@hotmail.ca or call us at 514 521-5159 with your order number and the title you want to cancel.
If your order contains other items, only the pre-order concerned is cancelled and refunded.
Refund
Your refund is processed as soon as the cancellation is confirmed. How long it takes to appear on your statement depends on your financial institution.
Good to know
Release date changes
Release dates are set by the record labels and may change. If a release is delayed, we will notify you by email: you can then keep your pre-order or cancel it at no charge.
Cancelled releases
If a release is cancelled by the label or we are unable to obtain the item, we will automatically refund you in full.
Final pre-order
Within 7 days of the release date, or once the item has shipped or been picked up, the pre-order can no longer be cancelled or refunded, except in the case of a delayed release or a defective item.
An item received that is still new and sealed can be returned within 45 days (in store, or by mail with the $15 return label paid by the customer) for store credit only.
